E911 – Compliant (with use of Intrado)
When you are experiencing an emergency, it’s critical that you are connected to the correct emergency services provider as quickly as possible. In accordance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, we are required to inform you of any limitations that may affect your ability to access 911 services. This service functions differently from traditional landline or mobile 911 services and may have limitations.
** This statement applies only when using Simplifi Connect & Voicelink with the use of Intrado.
Simplifi 911 IP and VoLTE Relay Disclaimer
911 Supported: Simplifi’s VoLTE Voicelink-enabled service supports dialing 9-1-1 when properly registered through the enrollment process outlined by your seller and the specific registration of your device and your device’s location. This service is managed in part by Simplifi and is a functional requirement of compliance. Should you not adhere to this registration process then your device is non-compliant for E911 service.
Acknowledgment of Limitations and User Responsibility
By using Simplifi services (including Voicelink), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- 911 for emergency calls is are supported using this product or service providing you registered your device and location.
- Simplifi does not control third-party networks or infrastructure (including IP relay and VoLTE networks) and is not responsible for their performance or availability.
- E911 service is managed through Intrado services.
- Customer Materials - Customer will provide information reasonably requested by Intrado to perform Services, including as applicable: telecommunication specifications; Customer or third-party telephone numbers and location information; and network architectures and diagrams (“Customer Materials”). Customer warrants that (a) Customer is solely responsible for the content and rights to Customer Materials; (b) Customer Materials will be accurate; and (c) Intrado’s use of Customer.
- Customer Indemnity - Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Intrado and Brightsky LLC dba Simplifi, as well as their respective directors, officers, and employees, harmless from any losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, actions, claims, or expenses (collectively referred to as “Claims”), (including reasonable lawyer’s fees and court costs) that Intrado may suffer or incur as a result of a Claim brought or asserted against Intrado by any third party, to the extent arising out of, relating to, or caused by any act or omission of Customer or a user (including Customer’s or a user’s failure to provide Intrado with accurate data) which prevents a 9-1-1 call made by Customer or one of its users from being successfully routed by Intrado, except to the extent caused by Intrado’s gross negligence or reckless or willful misconduct. Other carrier restrictions may apply.
